Lexington Health Network appoints Christopher Lis, PhD, MPH as President and Chief Operations Officer

Lexington Health Network has announced that Christopher G. Lis, PhD, MPH, has been appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of Lexington Health Network.

In this role, Chris will lead the enterprise to build a One Brand, One Network service organization. In doing so, he will be collaborating with our leaders throughout Lexington to cascade our Network goals, critical initiatives, and metrics to all operating unit leaders so that we become fully aligned as a Family Enterprise in achieving our Mission and Vision, and year-to-year performance results.

In addition to serving as our most recent chief strategy officer, Chris comes to us with remarkable success in building a family enterprise with experience in operations, strategy, service excellence, and marketing He has served and continues to serve as a fiduciary board member for a national medical and scientific organization, a board member for a regional medical and scientific organization, a board advisor to a medical device start-up, and an editorial board member to two peer-reviewed health care journals.

His previous health care contributions include: helping to grow a health care system with results exceeding 10x top line growth; leading an enterprise-wide team to number one in customer loyalty at the national level; performing as a critical member of the executive team who created one of the most recognized health care brands in the country; authoring and/or coauthoring over fifty manuscripts in the peer-reviewed literature, and being invited to The White House for a discussion on health care innovation with a Special Assistant to the President of the United States. His leadership team contributions have been featured as part of two Harvard Business School Case Studies, a Bain & Company white paper, and two Harvard Business School Press books on customer loyalty. He has been recently been featured in a new business management book called “The Leadership Mind Switch” by New York Times Bestselling Author D.A. Benton (McGraw Hill, 2017).

Chris has traveled internationally gaining insight into service excellence best practices by visiting with Executive Team members of numerous high performing service organizations, including Starbucks, Apple, Zappos, eBay, Intuit, Lego, Allianz, American Express, Franklin Covey, and the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company, among others. Since joining Lexington Health Network, he has and will continue to integrate Global 1000 company best practices into the Network so that we can leverage the best of both worlds to grow.
