DESCRIPTION
Financial support (scholarship) awarded to individual or family member currently working within the health care industry pursuing personal or professional growth.


DEADLINES

Lexington Foundation awards scholarships semi-annually on May 1st and September 1st of each year. Requests for scholarships on these dates must be submitted no later than April 1st and August 1st, respectively.


ELIGIBILITY
  1. Resides in the Chicagoland Area.
  2. Either currently employed or parents employed within the health care industry.
  3. In need of financial assistance to further career development.
  4. A proven highly motivated individual.


CRITERIA
  1. Letters of recommendation.
  2. 1 academic reference (teacher, instructor, etc...).
  3. 2 personal references (non-family).
  4. Essay on "How my educational growth will advance future career goals" (500 word maximum).
  5. How scholarship $ will be used.
  6. Interview (if needed).
  7. Completion of application form.
